Inventory Donation for Companies That Move Product
If you make it, sell it, store it or ship it, sooner or later you have product that will not sell. Donating it is often cheaper than storing or destroying it, and it does real good.
Brands and Manufacturers
Discontinued SKUs, packaging changes, overruns and slow movers. Keep your brand protected with no resale terms and optional debranding.
Retailers and eCommerce
Overstock, seasonal leftovers, customer returns and Amazon FBA removals that still have life in them.
3PLs and Warehouses
Abandoned client inventory and aged stock taking up rack space. We clear it and document every pallet.
Food and Beverage
Short dated, mislabeled or overproduced shelf stable product, donated with liability protections in place.
Food donation →Apparel and Uniforms
Excess stock, old logos and discontinued lines placed with shelters, job programs and community groups.
Corporate ESG Programs
Recurring donation programs with clean records for sustainability and community impact reporting.
How It Works
Four steps. One point of contact. You never have to find a charity, call a trucking company or chase a receipt.
Tell us what you have
Send the product type, quantity, pickup location and a few photos. We reply with a flat quote, usually the same business day.
We match a nonprofit
We place the inventory with a vetted 501(c)(3) that can actually use it and has the dock, space and staff to receive it.
We pick it up
We book the truck and schedule pickup at your dock, warehouse or 3PL. Pallets, gaylords or loose cases.
You get your tax receipt
Tax donation receipt from the nonprofit, plus bill of lading, photos and an itemized list for your tax and ESG files.

Why Companies Donate Through Us
Faster than doing it yourself
No calling food banks one by one. We find a recipient that wants it and can receive it.
Paperwork done right
Written acknowledgment from the nonprofit, BOL, photos and itemized lists in one package.
Brand protection
Vetted 501(c)(3) recipients, signed no resale terms and debranding when you need it.
Zero landfill backup
What cannot be donated is recycled or destroyed with a certificate, never dumped.
Donation Can Beat Destruction on Cost
Destroying good product means paying for trucking and disposal and writing it off. Donating it can mean a similar or lower all in cost, plus a charitable deduction, plus a real story for your ESG report.
C corporations that donate inventory to a qualified charity for the care of the ill, the needy or infants may be able to deduct more than cost under IRC Section 170(e)(3). Food donations qualify for the enhanced deduction for most business types.
Your tax donation receipt package
- Tax donation receipt from the receiving 501(c)(3)
- Signed statement of use where the enhanced deduction applies
- Bill of lading and pickup photos
- Itemized product list with quantities
- Certificate of Destruction for anything not donated
We are not tax advisors. Confirm your deduction with your CPA.
Are You a Nonprofit?
Food banks, shelters, schools, disaster relief groups, thrift programs and community organizations can apply for free. Pick the categories you need, such as clothing, books, cleaning supplies, furniture, hand sanitizer or electronics, and we reach out when a matching donation comes in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who pays for the donation?
The donating business pays a flat fee per pallet or per truckload. That fee covers our coordination work, trucking and documentation. Nonprofits never pay anything to receive inventory through us.
Will I get a tax donation receipt?
Yes. After delivery we get you a tax donation receipt from the receiving 501(c)(3) nonprofit, listing the donated goods and quantities. That is the written acknowledgment the IRS requires to claim a charitable deduction. Where you plan to use the enhanced deduction, we also collect the nonprofit’s signed statement of use. You get it together with the bill of lading, photos and itemized list.
What is the minimum quantity?
One pallet. Smaller lots can sometimes be combined with other pickups in the same area. Large programs, full truckloads and multi site donations are where we save companies the most time.
Can I take a tax deduction?
Most companies can deduct donated inventory, and C corporations may qualify for an enhanced deduction under IRC Section 170(e)(3) when goods go to a qualified charity serving the ill, the needy or infants. We provide the documentation your CPA needs. We are not tax advisors, so confirm the details with your accountant. See our tax deduction guide.
How do you protect our brand?
We place goods only with vetted 501(c)(3) organizations, and every recipient agrees in writing that donated items are not for resale. If you need labels removed or products debranded first, tell us and we will include it in the quote.
What happens to anything a nonprofit cannot use?
Nothing goes to waste by default. Items that cannot be donated are recycled, or destroyed at certified partner facilities with a Certificate of Destruction, through our parent company Wasteless Group. You approve that before it happens.
Do you work nationwide?
Yes. We arrange pickups anywhere in the continental US from your dock, warehouse, store, distribution center or 3PL.
How fast can you pick up?
Most donations are matched and scheduled within one to two weeks. Tell us your deadline when you request a quote and we will work to it.
Have inventory that will not sell?
Send us the details today and get a flat donation quote, usually the same business day.
